Kara Ford is an eclectic pianist, composer, and conductor whose work includes arrangements for the 2023-2024 Oscars, Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter LeAnn Rimes, country star Clint Black, and internationally-acclaimed opera singer Arturo Chacón Cruz. Kara’s music has been performed across the world in Dublin’s National Concert Hall (Ireland’s National Symphonic Orchestra), the historic San Francisco Mint, Utah’s Deer Valley Music Festival (Utah Symphony), Warner Brothers Scoring Stage, Capitol Records, and Disneyland. She has also worked in music production for popular TV shows such as NBC's "The Good Place", Netflix’s “Untold” series, and Amazon's "Homecoming".
Kara holds a Master's of Music in Screen Scoring from the University of Southern California and a bachelor’s degree in Film Scoring from Boston’s Berklee College of Music. Kara currently plays piano for Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, is the music director of St Polycarp Catholic Church, and assistant-conducts the Huntington Beach Concert Band. When not making music she enjoys wake boarding and reading a good fiction novel!
